What is Nayapay IMAP?

It's a WHMCS gateway for Pakistan that accepts Nayapay (PKR) payments. Invoices can be in USD; the gateway converts to PKR using an auto rate (API) or a fixed USD-to-PKR rate. The customer uses the invoice # as reference. The module reads Nayapay receipt emails via IMAP and automatically marks the matching invoice as paid.

How does USD to PKR conversion work?

You can set a fixed "USD to PKR rate" in the gateway config, or leave it empty to use the automatic rate. When empty, the gateway fetches the rate from an API and caches it (e.g. every 60 minutes) so the payment page shows the amount in PKR.

How does IMAP verification work?

You enter the email that receives Nayapay receipt emails (e.g. from service@nayapay.com) and its IMAP password. The gateway logs in, searches for Nayapay receipt emails, and matches amount and reference (invoice #) to the invoice, then adds the payment in WHMCS.

What if I use Gmail with 2FA?

Use a Gmail App Password for the gateway, not your normal password. IMAP host: imap.gmail.com, port 993.

Is the payment link secure?

Yes. The link to the payment page is signed with a secret and has an expiry time. You set the "Signing Secret" in the gateway configuration.

Is this a one-time or yearly license?

Yearly. The license is $100 per year per domain. You need an active license for the gateway to work.

Which WHMCS versions are supported?

WHMCS 8.x and 9.x. The module uses standard WHMCS gateway and invoice APIs. PHP IMAP extension is required.

How It Works

You set your Nayapay receive email/ID, the email that receives Nayapay receipts, and your IMAP settings. You can set a fixed USD to PKR rate or leave it empty for automatic rate (fetched from API, cached every 1 hour). You configure a signing secret for secure payment links. On the invoice, the client sees "Pay with Nayapay" and the amount in PKR (if applicable). After payment, the gateway checks your inbox, matches reference and amount to the invoice, and marks it paid in WHMCS.
