Venmo IMAP Payment Gateway

Venmo IMAP Payment Gateway lets you accept Venmo payments in WHMCS using your Venmo username. Customers pay the invoice amount to your Venmo and put the invoice number in the payment note. The gateway connects to your email via IMAP, reads Venmo "paid you" receipt emails, matches the amount and note to the correct invoice, and marks the invoice as paid automatically. No manual checking required. Licensed annually at $100/year per domain.

How It Works

1. You set your Venmo username, the email address where you receive Venmo receipts, and your IMAP settings (e.g. Gmail: imap.gmail.com, port 993, App Password).
2. You configure a signing secret so payment links are signed and time-limited (e.g. 60 minutes).
3. On the invoice, the client sees a "Pay with Venmo" button and is sent to a payment page showing your Venmo username, amount, and a reminder to use the invoice # as the note.
4. After the customer sends payment, the gateway checks your inbox for Venmo "paid you" emails, matches note = invoice ID and amount ≥ invoice total, then adds the payment in WHMCS and marks the invoice paid.
5. Transaction ID is taken from the Venmo receipt when possible, so it appears correctly in WHMCS.
